ISPConfig 2.2.22 How to re-install w/o losing data?

Hi,

I'm upgrading my ISPConfig server from Ubuntu 8.04 to Ubuntu 8.10. I'm thinking of doing an installation of the operating system versus the upgrade since the upgrade failed on my test hardware.

So, I'm wondering how to do the re-installation without having to re-create the databases, users, web-sites, etc that are already in ISPConfig?

I'm pretty sure this won't be possible since I'd be re-installing mySQL.

Any thoughts on this?

Also, I'm using native LVM. Do I need to do anything for the new Operating System to pick up the volume information?

Thanks, Danté
