Virtual Users + Domains With Postfix etc.

Hi

I have tried the (Virtual Users + Domains With Postfix, Courier + MySQL (+SMTP-AUTH, SpamA, ClamAV)) Tutorial many times on two different machines yet Amavis randomly stops and queues of email build up, is there any reason for this happening?

Thanks

Byron Williams

Are there any error messages in the mail log?

This keeps popping up on all of the mail logs

I can't see any amavisd errors... :confused:

byw 19th February 2006 19:18

If there are no Amavis errors why would Amavis keep dying?
I can only see a link between that and the SpamAssassin rules update?

falko 19th February 2006 23:38

What SpamAssassin rules update?

byw 20th February 2006 10:10

Code:

45 3 * * * root  /usr/local/sbin/sa_rules_update.sh &> /dev/null
18 */3        * * *        amavis        test -e /usr/bin/sa-learn && test -e /usr/sbin/amavisd-new && /usr/bin/sa-learn --rebuild >/dev/null 2>&1
