I get the same output in my log. I've tried to set global read-, write- and execute perimission to the /var/run/courier/authdaemon/ directory and SUID to maildrop, neither helped.

When I run "authtest user@mydomain.tld" I get

So it seems that the authentication works fine. But when I run "maildrop -d user@mydomain.tld" I get
