STEP 9: OpenLDAP + Samba Domain Controller On Ubuntu 7.10
I am using Debian "Etch" and have run into Debian being slightly different than Ubuntu, in Step 9 of the below HowTo:
http://www.howtoforge.com/openldap-s...-ubuntu7.10-p2 I run into a problem ...their is no package called auth-client-config for Debian, so I was wondering if someone could let me know how I can fix this so I can continue configuring. # Create a new file /etc/auth-client-config/profile.d/open_ldap: vim /etc/auth-client-config/profile.d/open_ldap # Insert the following into that new file: Thank you |
You culd try to install the Ubuntu package on Debian, but I'm not sure if this works...

I guess figuring out what the auth-client-config does first would probably help me continue my configuration, still stuck on step 9.
