Cannot recieve emails
 
can anyone shed some light on a problem that is driving me mad. I have recently bought a laptop and wireless router, replacing my broadband modem.

I now can send emails but cannot recieve them :

Which operating system is on your laptop?
Which error message do you get when you try to fetch email?
Which email client do you use?

I run windows xp, My server is Tiscali. No error message they just dont arrive

Please make sure you configured your email client properly (correct username and password, correct POP3/IMAP server, ...).
If this doesn't help, then it looks like a server-side problem to me, and you should contact the Tiscali support.

Thanks falko, I think that your diagnosis of the problem could be right.

I checked my pop, and smtp settings they seem to be fine, so i contacted tiscali and they said that the server was being worked on and to try it again today.

I have tried today before I came to work, but as yet its still the same. Thank you everyone for the responses and Ill keep you updated.
