Ubuntu 7.10 LDAP Samba question

I completed the howto on the Ubuntu 7.10 LDAP server with no issues(great howto!). My question is if I want to build a standalone Debian Samba fileserver, how do I connect this to my newly-minted Ubuntu Directory Server and pull users from LDAP?

Does anyone have any links to a how to? I saw a Debian Samba Fileserver but it is a tdbsam.
