ERROR: The PHP binary coming with ISPConfig does not work properly on your system! The installation routine stops here!
serv1:~/install_ispconfig#

It deletes the 'install_ispconfig' dir for me..

It tells me all these missing files..

am I to download and add these files some place.. the setup error on line 771 in setup2 is
ispconfig_tmp/php/bin/php -n -q check.php

Now I have php5 and 4 installed and gcc is the latest version..

I need some help here...

I guess the error ocures much earlier. this error is just a consequence of the first errors.

seems like something is not ok with your servertime - perhaps checking the output of
Code:

date
might help a bit

falko 27th December 2005 13:53

ZyanKlee is right, you have to adjust your system time before you install ISPConfig. For example, you could run
Code:

/usr/sbin/rdate 128.2.136.71
to do so.

wow it seems to be working...

I let you know when its done..
never made it this far...

s2angel 31st December 2005 03:26

my progress

well it worked perfect right up till it asked for my mysql password.. (I forgot it ) so dam

I reloaded anyway since i wanted the stable sarge anyway..

I reloaded now I am stuck at what to enter for the
Please enter the host name: E.g. www I entered www
Please enter the domain: E.g. xyz.de I entered dotcomcanadian
then it stops the install script.. telling me that it can't find it or its invalid..

Now I never setup much for ip and bind cause I don't have that info
is there any way to just setup just the basics so when I do put it live I go through that stuff
later just want it up and runing to play with

before I actualy make it live

till 31st December 2005 13:01

Instead of entering the domain, you can leave hostname empty and enter your IP address instaed of the domain name.
