Help - 301 Permanent Redirect
Guys,
This is my scenerio. I have 2 domain names, www.domainA.com and www.domainB.com. I want to use www.domainB.com as my primary domain name. I need google to crawl this domain as my primary domain name. I've read that I can use a 301 permanent redirect to accomplish this. Below is the syntax that i came up with: Redirect 301 /old/old.html http://www.you.com/new.html I need some guidance. Do I need to create 2 sites in ISPConfig, one for www.domainA.com and one for http://www.domainB.com first? After this, is it just a matter of creating a .htaccess file with the above content and drop it into www.domainA.com root? Please let me know what you guys suggest. I really have to get this working properly. Thanks, UPDATE: I answered my own question. Sorry guys. |
If www.domainA.com and www.domainB.com should hold exactly the same contents, you can create www.domainB.com as a Co-Domain of the www.domainA.com web site.
