Automatic Backups and Backup Process Help

Ok, so I am wondering is there any way to set up ISPConfig to backup every night automatically?

I am using Ubuntu Feisty and would just want to save the backup to a removable drive on the server.

Also, how easy is it to restore the backup? How does that work?

Would I be able to restore all my sites on another PC if I wanted to from the backup?

I know it's a lot of questions, but any help would be appreciated.

I recommend to do the backup with tar as a crom job. Here some reltaed threads, you will find many more if you search the forum for the word backup.

Or you could use rsync and hardlinks to get incremental snapshot-style backups...
