cannot access ispconfig site
I've re-installed fedora and ispconfig and still unable to access the ispconfig site.
when i go to http://www.mysite.com:81 i get a pop-up box "connection refused" i don't think ssl is actually started. so i tried to restart the ispconfig site. here's what i get when i try to restart ispconfig ================================================= [root@server bin]# /etc/init.d/ispconfig_server restart Shutting down ISPConfig system... /root/ispconfig/httpd/bin/apachectl stop: httpd (no pid file) not running ISPConfig system stopped! Starting ISPConfig system... Syntax error on line 205 of /root/ispconfig/httpd/conf/httpd.conf: Cannot load /root/ispconfig/httpd/libexec/libphp5.so into server: /root/ispconfig/httpd/libexec/libphp5.so: cannot restore segment prot after reloc: Permission denied /root/ispconfig/httpd/bin/apachectl startssl: httpd could not be started ISPConfig system is now up and running! [root@server bin]# ================================================ where exactly do i need to set permissions to get ssl to work???? |
Do you have any security eytensions installed in Fedora?

Did you install Fedora with SELinux enabled? You shouldn't do that. Look here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=860

ISPCONFIG working great now just a couple ?'s
Hey guys thanks for all the help. the instructions were right on the money i just had to follow them to the letter. i appreciate your patience with the neubi.:)
Can you recommend a resource for backingup and restoring linux (Core 4 Fedora if it matters) Also i have ispconfig currently set to be accessed via http. how can i change it to be accessed via https in the future without re-installing? |

I am having a similar problem. SELinux has been disabled. I am running Fedora 8. Any help would be great.

Please reconfigure your server as described in the perfect setup guide for fedora 8 and then reinstall ispconfig.

I did follow the guide. Is there something in particular that you see?

Did you see any errors when you installed ISPConfig?

No everything seemed fine. Just that error at the end. Here is the install log.
