cannot access ispconfig site
 
I've re-installed fedora and ispconfig and still unable to access the ispconfig site.
when i go to http://www.mysite.com:81 i get a pop-up box "connection refused"
i don't think ssl is actually started. so i tried to restart the ispconfig site.
here's what i get when i try to restart ispconfig

/root/ispconfig/httpd/bin/apachectl startssl: httpd could not be started
ISPConfig system is now up and running!

where exactly do i need to set permissions to get ssl to work????

Do you have any security eytensions installed in Fedora?

Did you install Fedora with SELinux enabled? You shouldn't do that. Look here: http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=860

ISPCONFIG working great now just a couple ?'s
 
Hey guys thanks for all the help. the instructions were right on the money i just had to follow them to the letter. i appreciate your patience with the neubi.:)
Can you recommend a resource for backingup and restoring linux (Core 4 Fedora if it matters) Also i have ispconfig currently set to be accessed via http. how can i change it to be accessed via https in the future without re-installing?

I am having a similar problem. SELinux has been disabled. I am running Fedora 8. Any help would be great.

Please reconfigure your server as described in the perfect setup guide for fedora 8 and then reinstall ispconfig.
