Error on install

Hello everyone! My first post here. I am running Suse 10.2 and ran through the perfect setup. I am now trying to install ISPConfig and having an issue.

First run through:

After doing some research I found the following link. http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/sho...x86_64+Openssl

I then made the change in my compile file from ./config --prefix=${INSTALL_ROOT/openssl || error to ./Configure linux-generic64 --prefix=${INSTALL_ROOT/openssl || error

Now I am getting the following error before I even get to the CA setup screen.

./compile: line 115: unexpected EOF while looking for matching `}'
./compile: line 236: syntax error: unexpected end of file
cd: error retrieving current directory: getcwd: cannot access parent directories: No such file or directory

./setup2: line 860: ispconfig_tmp/php/bin/php: No such file or directory

I am sooooo lost at this point.

Thanks,

So I was able to get past it by adding the missing } but that did not resolve the issue.

./Configure linux-generic64 --prefix=${INSTALL_ROOT}/openssl || error

You are missing the OpenSSL development package. I'm not familiar with Suse, so don't know the command. But it's on these forums somewhere...

igbe 28th February 2007 20:43

I will give that a try.

The install is yast -t openssl-devel

I will post an undate, thanks for the reply!

Current OPENSSL packages installed

compat-openssl097g
openssl
openssl-dev
php5-openssl

Do I need openssl-dev-32bit?

I think Suse 10.2 is 32 bit.

That did the trick! All my packages were via 64 and I guess ISP config was looking for the 32 bit version of openssl-dev. Now I wonder if there are any other outstanding issues like this.

Thanks for the help though!
