Normally ClamAV finds all viruses. I've had one or two cases when ClamAV did not find the virus (maybe it was too new), but fortunately I had another virus scanner after ClamAV. But you have to keep in mind that another virus scanner will increase the system load, especially on a system with heavy email traffic.
