My old server i used sendmail, hosted websites on the server, but it was also a mail gateway. i had in sendmail virtusertable basically this: *@publicdomain.com %1@internaldomain.com
this would forward joeblow@publicdomain.com to my exchange server user joeblow@internaldomain.com.
I installed Fedora Core 6 according to the perfect setup, and installed ISPConfig no problem.
I created a site, created a mail user.
My question is this, can i basically do the same here under the Forward box put %1@internaldomain.com and check off the CatchAll box?
Additionally, I obviously would have to setup a domain on dns for the internaldomain and setup the mx record to my internal server so it gets sent there.
Is this the best way to do this or is there a perhaps better way? Its pretty simple, i'm sure it will work but its just theory right now.
I would be doing this to about 3 different domains hosted but really that doesn't matter. Must say this whole package is amazing.
