I have just finished installing Linux Mandriva 2006 and I was wanting to configure FTP on it so I can access it remotely across the internet using WS-FTP Pro or my IE Browser...are there any PERFECT INSTALLATION instructions for that???
Thanks,
Juan

I think you can use these instructions: http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_mandrake_10_2_p6
Instead of using apt-get install proftpd, use urpmi proftpd. I don't think that apt is already available for Mandriva 2006.
Or, if you have also installed a desktop on your system, you can use the Mandriva Control Center to install proftpd.
