telnet will drop connection (FC5)

Hi there.

I was following the Perfect Setup for FC5 right to the letter on 2 machines. One of them is working fine (so far.. haven't completed the tutorial).

and the other has a problem (duh). Both were done exactly the same(as far as I can tell)

I'm now up to page 5 of the tutorial http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect_setup_fedora_core_5_p5

and when doing a telnet to localhost, the connection is "Closed by Foreign Host".

So I tried to telnet from yet another computer in the house and i lost the connection too...

Any ideas?

If I'm no wrong, on this problem machine, i mispelled some words during the openssl part of the tutorial and reran the commands to re-enter the data
