web auths, IMAP i think

Hi everyone again,

I tried installing horde's imp,
but login was failing everytime,
so i did openwebmail, and login still fails.

is there something wrong with my imap server?

how can i tell?

I'm not sure, because when i deleted the maillog file(it was getting too big),
they did not create a new maillog.

Does it work with a regular email client such as Thunderbird or Outlook? What's in your dovecot.conf?

Yes it works with email clients, just not from
webmail.
But my email client accesses using pop.

Your dovecot.conf looks ok, so I think it's rather a problem with your webmail applications...

What's the output of netstat -tap?

smtp,imaps,imap,pop3,pop3s
are running.

I dont know what i did wrong with the webmail
installations.
I just installed openwebmail and IMP and i didnt change any
settings.What could be wrong?

Maybe a bug in your webmail applications or a problem with your installation...
