I have FC5 installed and ISPConfig running.
My server name is www.domainmain.com.
So, I have at GoDaddy, @, www, mail all pointing to the IP address of my server. There is also an MX record on GoDaddy mail.domainmaster.com.
Now, I have 5 sites created on my FC5 box and here is where I'm confused. When I look at each of the sites in the DNS Manager under Records, they all have the MX Record set to:
www.domainmain.com and mail.domainmain.com
On the GoDaddy site, under "Total DNS Control" there are MX Records that have:
mail.domainone.com
mail.domaintwo.com
etc.
So, should the local ISPConfig records be changed to have mail.domainone.com where each domain will have its own mx record? Or should each domain be pointed to mail.domainmain.com?
I hope that makes sence.
BTW, I want to have GoDaddy handle all the DNS stuff if possible.
Thanks.
