How safe and possible are to use apt-get on Sarge? Is any chance what this hurts the system ( email, web, ftp or something )?.

I update my DEBIAN installations regulrily wit apt-get update, never got any problems.

No problem here either. I did make the bad decision by adding a repo that updated my php to an unsupported version which put Debi in quite a mess. I think I fixed it though.

Is safe to update these packets:
bsdutils courier-authdaemon courier-base courier-imap courier-imap-ssl courier-pop courier-pop-ssl courier-ssl
libmysqlclient12 libmysqlclient12-dev mount mysql-client mysql-common mysql-server python2.3 util-linux
I'm using coureir mail system for clients access and update will upgrade mysql client. Can I upgrade these packets wihout damading ISPconfig?
