Cannot Update

trying to update ispconfig from

Current Version
Version: 2.2.3

to

New Version
Version: 2.2.6

when i upload, or enter the URL, it loads for about 10 seconds or so, and then i receive the error below

ERROR 103: No username or password provided.

and the server never updates, how do i update ispconfig ?

What do you mean "when i upload, or enter the URL"?

All you need to do is download the new file from Sourceforge (pick a mirror here http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/ispconfig/ISPConfig-2.2.6.tar.gz?download), and follow the install instuctions from here: http://www.ispconfig.org/manual_installation.htm

I read between the lines that you update via the update manager within ISPConfig. That is not correct. Follow the instructions that Edge have told you.

yes i was using the update manager in ispconfig - isn't that a logical place to put an update <_<

Yes, the installer detects a installed system automatically adn updates it.

The update manager is only for frontend updates, it is not capable of updating the backend and daemons.
