need help in creating and registering a domain name with ispconfig

i have just finished installing ispconfig on my ubuntu 6.06 dapper drake.
i am trying to register a domain name so i can upload my web pages to the site.
but when i do any setting and try to launch my internet browser and type in the url of the domain name i created, it opens a page with the name "OpenDNS" page pls. i need help. anyway, iam a newbie with ispconfig.

tanx for those who helped me in the installation of the ispconfig.
but things are getting more confussing.

What is OpenDNS for the beginning?

So have you done the following tasks:

Registered your domain name with a third party registrar?

Created the site in ISPConfig

Re-Directed the DNS records with the third party registrar to point to your ISPConfig server.
