ISPConfig uses /etc/passwd and /etc/shadow for user auth. Only the controlpanel users are stored in the mysql DB.

UP
I'd like to support this request...
LDAP support would be really appreciated, since I already use it with samba I'd like to see an integration... :)
Anyway, good job!

Wouldn't system pam LDAP support in the system be OK for what you want to do ?
Just an idea, never tried that :D

Sure, no problem with Samba users, but ISPConfig creates normal user in the system... I'd like to see it using LDAP as well...
Or am I saying something stupid? I do not know ISPConfig very well, maybe it's already possible to do that?

ISPConfig does not support LDAP users yet.
