Hi there,
I have a problem regarding sending an email with a large attachment, say 10MB in Postfix with Uebimiau.
I did try to send an email with many attachments that add up the total message size excedding 10MB and it sends, but how come when I wanted to send a single attachment with 10MB, it wouldn't let me send, even Uebimiau doesn't allow me to attach the file. In Microsoft Outlook client, it gave me the large message size error.
My configuration in /etc/postfix/main.cf
mailbox_size_limit = 0
message_size_limit = 0
Is there anything wrong and any solution to fix this?
Thanx a lot in advance!

What is the exact error message in outlook? Did you restart postfix after you changed the config file?
I guess that your problem in UebiMiau is related to the fact that UebiMiau is not built to handle large attachemnts very well.
Please check the postfix configuration values with "postconf".

Sorry but I can't find the "postconf" values... Can u please tell me where is the configuration file?
Actually my Outlook can send the mail, but before the mail actually send to the server, it goes to a virus scan process in Norton Antivirus... Just when the Norton about to finish scanning, it pop up the message saying that the message size is too large. This only happen with a large attachment mail. If I send a mail with a lot of attachments that total up to the same size, it can be sent out... Not logic huh?
-_-??

Maybe its an issue with your norton antivirus and not your server. You can try to send your email directly to your server without using norton antivirus by setting your smtp server address in outlook to your server IP or domain.

I dun think it's the Norton Antivirus issue coz I encountered the same problem when I use the Uebimiau Webmail. The antivirus only scans my outgoing mail for virus.
As I mentioned earlier, when using Uebimiau webmail, I cant even attach the big file size attachment but I can attach small file size one.
Is there any place to configure the mail attachment size in postfix or uebimiau? Earlier on u mentioned to look for 'postconf' values but I cant find any... Any ideas?

Sending large attachments with webmail is always a problem as you might have reached the PHP resource limit.
Have you tested to send email without norton antivirus from outlook?

run the command:
postconf
