Hello,
I was wondering if there's a way to redo the SSL which needs to be done with a fresh ISPConfig installation. I've set some info wrong and I need to change it.
As i've come to understand, the server.key is signed by the ca.key.. but how do I redo a new ca.key the way i like it and then doing the server.key.
Thx
till

Thanks for the reply Till, but what I wanted was something different. What i meant was, when you install ISPConfig, you have to do some steps to create the certificates:
STEP 1: Generating RSA private key for CA (1024 bit) [ca.key]...and then...STEP 4: Generating RSA private key for SERVER (1024 bit) [server.key]
After completing the installation and accessing the webinterface for the first time, I got a certificate like this:

...and after doing the lines you adviced, i get:

As you can see, the "Issued To" and "Issued By" are different in the thirst certificate. The second certificate has "Issued To" and "Issued By" being the same. I like to change this to being different again, like in the first image.
This because when I get a certificate from a real CA, i need to change the CA to the CA where I got my certificate from, right? ...or am I completly wrong how CA and certificates work?
TIA

When you buy a real certificate, "Issued By" will automatically show your CA where you bought the certificate.
