IMAP server setup

I am new to fedora and would like to know how to setup my server for IMAP and how to configure clients to connect.

I have built Fedora core 5 on Dell server now I need to know how to connect clients to this machine and how to get email to it.

To get IMAP installed, run
yum install dovecot
This installs an IMAP and POP3 server.
You can connect to it with any email client (like Outlook or Thunderbird); as the server address you can use any IP address or FQDN that points to your server.
