Now that MEPIS is based on the Ubuntu repositories, I would like to see "The perfect setup" for MEPIS. I prefer it for a kde installation.

Why do you need a desktop on a server? :confused:
It's a security risk and slows down the server.

If you really need a desktop on a server, and falko is right about it being a silly idea, why not use Kbunut and the ubunut perfect guide?
