Hi all,

I've never installed a printer on Linux until, I just plugged in a Canon IP1600, my system recognizes the devive but the model is not listed, then can't print.

What can I do about it? Thanks in advance

Did you install CUPS on your system? This here: http://www.howtoforge.com/samba_setup_ubuntu_5.10_p5 might give you the idea.
