SSH/FTP users can not login

ISPconfig Version: 2.2.37
Linux Debian 5
It was running without problems for 2+ years

Now none of the clients can not login with ftp/ssh login denied.

Passwords changed but the problem is the same.
Resseler credentials works fine...

it is rather odd. Nothing in logs...
any ideas where to look? ISPconfig issue or system issue...
Any suggestion more than welcome cause I stack....

Do you use ISPConfig users or system users (web1_...) to log into FTP?
