Hello,

I need help with a question:

I would like to add the following mx records to my domain in the ISPCONFIG DNS manager. I am given three options:

http://www.wallpaperama.com/blog-images/isconfig-MXrecord.gif

Google gives me these to enter in MX records:

ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 1
ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 5
ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 5
ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 10
ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 10
ASPMX4.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 10
ASPMX5.GOOGLEMAIL.COM. 10

My question is: Which information should i put for each field?

For example on the first entry: ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM. 1 - Should it be like this?

hostname = ALT1.ASPMX.L
priority = 10
mailserver = GOOGLE.COM

OR

hostname = whatever I want
priority = 10
mailserver = ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM

Any help you can provide will be appreciated.

Thanks.

Do you want emails for your domain to be delivered to Google's mail servers???

However, have a look here, that should explain it: http://www.howtoforge.com/ispconfig_dns_godaddy
