periodic whois lookup of all domains

Hi,
what about a periodic lookup of all domains via whois? I want to see if there are customers that have left silently ;)
(Technically speaking, one could compare the returned nameservers from whois with the locally stored ones, but I guess you know what I mean)
In order to put not too much of a burden on the whois servers one could run this in the background with a few domains per hour or so...

I think this task is too special to include it in ISPConfig. You could create a cron job for it instead.

I think it's smarter to do a combined whois lookup of the used DNS-servers and ask the servers pointed out if they are authoritive for the domain and if they point to the correct IP.
