Hi,

I'm very new to the Linux OS. Recently I've started experimenting with the Debian Sarge Linux on Virtual Machines. I'm using VMWare Workstation 5 for creating such machines. I've tried to follow the steps described in your howto's for the perfect install of Debian and How to setup a load-balanced MySQL cluster, but when I'm trying to do it, it's just not working like in the howto's. It would be great if you colud help with this. Maybe post a HOWTO of this on this page.

THANK YOU!!!

There's no difference if you follow the tutorial on a real machine or in a VMware machine.
What exactly is your problem?

Do you have a router, or is your system connected directly to the internet?

I think you must try NAT then.
