apache restart fail

hello

I was trying to install ispconfig by using this : http://www.howtoforge.net/perfect-server-ubuntu-10.04-lucid-lynx-ispconfig-2

in 6th page, step 17 I have a problem.

I can't restart apache with /etc/init.d/apache2 restart , I get [fail] .

I'm beginner in linux .

there was no error ! just said [fail]

I solved the problem by reinstalling apache.

any way , thank you.

Errors are written to log files (usually in /var/log folder), good to know if you expirence problems.
