Hi there i'm having a problem following this tuturial and when i got to page 3 of

Changing dynamic IP to static IP but doing this i can't connect to my server remotely adn i use that a lot.

Can anyone help me out?

Can you post the outputs of ifconfig and route -nee when you use the dynamic IP? What does your /etc/network/interfaces look like when you use the static IP?
