Hi,

Is it possible for a dns server to mirror another dns server. Say when a dns record is updated on one it is updated on both , and it can act as a redundent dns server ?

Thanks,

Luke Fuller

That's why you have primary and secondary DNS servers. Secondary DNS server always get their data from the primary one and take over if the primary one fails. Have a look here: http://www.howtoforge.com/traditional_dns_howto
