Sir,
I have Fedora core 4 installed on my pc, I would like to know how can I configure 64 kbps adsl internet connection to simply use it for surfing the net.

Do you have a desktop installed (Gnome or KDE)? Then check out your system's control panel.
It might also be possible to configure your modem with Webmin, if it's installed.
