Ispconfig3-fallowing a perfect setup fro 9.10 ubuntu

dns tested all sites are directed properly

all email sending works

all email receiving works *

*when i use yahoo to test my email receiving all works fine >all emails arrives in the destination through my ispconfig3 server.Forwarded ,catch all or pop3 it all works.

When i use gmail: from my secondary gmail it only arrives as catch all to my main domain the server runs on.
other email accounts are unsuccessful.

When I use my primary gmail account that is used also as recipient for catch all on my ISP3 main domain none of the email get delivered back to the sender as sender is in this instance also catch all recipient.(none of the email gets delivered in this instance)

and suspecting a filtering rules of some sort on ISP3 that prevents looping email back to same sender /recipient or from mail to accounts.

Something that gmail is doing different that yahoo just does not get through.
And the sender same as recipient may be some conflict in rules of some sort.

Let me know what logs you need to help me with this.
let me know what ports i need to have open in router and fire wall to confirm my setup.
let me know if i need to have ssl o something enabled and where to confirm my setup.

Please post the lines that appear in the mail log when a delivery fails.

there is issue with g-mail receiving forwarded email from ispconfig3 where senders is also the recipient.(generally acquires when testing mail server setup

sender email1@gmail.com > david@server.com and .net works fine
sender email2@gmail.com>(also set up as forwarded destination when emailing from it to david@server.com and .net ) will newer close the loop and forward emails back to its source emails.


Wonder if g-mail detects this loop and to prevent some security vulnerability drops the mail or what?

Do you maybe forward david@server.com to email2@gmail.com? This would create a mail loop.

yes if i use different email as the sender all works fine.
Only when I use the email that is looped /forwarded it never arrives in the source/destination.
