ClamAV Killing me!

I need to get clamav out of my server asap - it seems to be on the fritz running close to a hundred processes of nothing but clamscan - I have removed it using apt-get remove but I still get processes running, when I do a locate clam I get all sorts of entries in ISPConfig directories - how do I go about getting it out of here? Even if I can just kill the main daemon that would be fine, because I can go through and kill all the processes related to clam that I can find but clamassassin and clamscan still pop up and within an hour ill be back up to around 100 processes which is killing all my services on my site!

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

ClamAV is very useful :)

Doh - sorry I usually search first but was in a hurry this morning - no excuse tho! Anywho ill give it a whirl and see what happens, I appreciate the help!
