Can't find bind-devel, or mysql-devel in suse 10 isp server setup

when I type the command to install bind-devel, yast gives me the error that it cannot find it on the medium? The same error occurs for mysql-devel? Any ideas to solve this?

What do you have under installation sources in yast? The Cds and http? And in which order?

i ran into the same issue, heres what i did.

i added my dvd as a yast source, you may have cd's , and thats fine. heres a link to help you do that, look for "leaving the cd's behind"

I also found that adding a few extra repositories helped, try adding these:

http://en.opensuse.org/Additional_YaST_Package_Repositories

only add the ones that correspond to your distro, and OSS repositories are fine.
