SpamSnake MailScanner Upgrade

I followed the SpamSnake How-to (http://www.howtoforge.com/the-perfect-spamsnake-ubuntu-jaunty-jackalope) to setup my Mail Gateway.It is great and working well.

Based on the how-to, I installed the mailscaner 4.75. However, I found there is updated version 4.79 release. May I know if you highly recommend to upgrade even running without problem?

If upgrade is a must, may I know the detail step for the upgrade?

Depends on what has changed in 4.79. If there are security fixes, I'd upgrade, otherwise not if you are happy with the system as it is.

Just upgrade, mailscanner does have a upgrade script that updates the configuration, without breaking your existing configuration.
