On my Debian Sarge 3.1 (stable) server at home there are some updates every week when i do an apt-get update or apt-get upgrade.

On my other server with the unofficial Debian-AMD64 Sarge installed i do not have a lot of updates, only sometimes. Is this normal?

The contents of /etc/apt/sources.list (unofficial Debian-AMD64 Sarge):

#deb file:///cdrom/ sarge main

deb http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian-amd64/debian/ stable main
deb-src http://ftp.nl.debian.org/debian-amd64/debian/ stable main

deb http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main

---

It is important to me that i can install security updates when they are available. Is my /etc/apt/sources.list ok on this system or is it recomended to at some lines. ( Note: I do not want to go unstable).

Is my /etc/apt/sources.list ok on this system or is it recomended to at some lines.Looks fine. I think the problem is that amd64 is unofficial, and therefore you don't have as many updates as on i386.
