I did iptables -F because I wanted to try some iptable rules but nothings works anymore.
What are the iptable rules are doing?
Where are the scripts for it?

Which distribution do you use? What is the purpose of your system? Is it acting as a router/gateway for your network?
Did you reboot the system? That should bring back the firewall rules.

Please reboot your system. What's the output of iptables -L then?

It's ok now - no rules left after the reboot, but strange.
thanks
