password problem OpenLdap

hi..im trying to follow the tutorial as per this link
http://www.howtoforge.com/linux_openldap_setup_server_client

i have a problem as when i entered the password while importing all the users into the LDAP of domain ldif file , there was an error

ldap_bind: Invalid credentials (49)

The password i entered was same as the one created using slappasswd.

any idea?
