How to unintall webmail client?

Hi,

How do I safely uninstall my current webmail client (UebiMiau!) in order to use the Squirrel Mail instead?

Where did you extract the contents of your current webmail client?

I just uploaded a .PKG file directly from ISPConfig.

I dare not to upload the package (.PKG) file for Squirrel Mail before I've somehow uninstalled/deleted the UebiMiau! first. So how is it done?

Seems to be a very tough question for todays scientists to solve! :)

Anyway... I've found this:

Remove the previous version of RoundCube first (http://ispconfig.bb-hosting.org/downloads/roundcube/Readme-RoundCube.txt)

So I applied the the method to remove previously installed webmail named "UebiMiau!".


# rm -R /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/web/webmail
# rm /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/web/webmail.tar.gz
# rm -R /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/web# cd /home/admispconfig/ispconfig/web/tools/tools/webmail


The "Webmail" item under "Tools" is gone and I installed the "RoundCube" mail browser to see if it works. Worked fine! At first testings, I even liked RoundCube better than Squirrel mail, so I probably keep that! :)

Suggestion: A kind of Uninstall function for tools may be desirable on upcoming versions of ISPConfig.
