dual-system: fedora 8 and Windows XP
start up the computer, choose 'Windows XP', everything works well.
restart the computer, choose 'fedora 8', got the following problem:
"root (hd0,5)
Filesystem type unknown, partition type 0x82"
then I type 'e' edit the option 'fedora 8', change 'root (hd0,5)' to 'root (hd0,6)', then type 'b' to boot the system, everything works well too.
However, when I restart the computer and then choose 'fedora 8' again. I still got the same problem, "root (hd0,5), Filesystem type unknown, partition type 0x82".
How can I force the Grub to change "root (hd0,5)" to "root (hd0,6)"?
Many thanks!
