website mailboxes for members

I want to provide mailboxes for my website members and allow members to send messages to each other.

Where do I start as I have no programming skills.

Do you mean internal mailboxes like the private messages in a bulletin board system or real email mailboxes?

just internal mailboxes between members..

I think you mean the mailboxes of the members of a domain on the server you probably host.
If so, maybe you can be a little bit more specific about the system you have, then we can check what is possible.

On a webserver configured with Falko's perfect setup and ISPConfig on top of it, it is very easy to do!

Do you have such server with ISPConfig or ...
