Kubuntu 9.04 ispconfig3
Just finished installation through "perfect setup" howto.
I created a new mailbox, but doesn't matter is I try to login through squirrelmail or telnet to 110 or use and existing system user or an ispconfig created users - the log in always fail.
Sites created seems to be working fine.
Any Ideas?
thanks!

You have to use the amil address as login and not a username.

With any IP address pr doamin that points to your server. Thats the case with any mail server and nothing special with ispconfig.
Any way to change this?
Change what??

There is no such thing as a user for email! You did not enter a username when you create an email account, so there is no user for an email account. The username for an email account is the email address in ISPConfig 3.
If you dont like this, use ISPConfig 2 instead as it uses Linux system users and not virtual users.
