Hey all, I have 10 domains on a ispconfig 3 ubuntu 9.04 (perfect). One thing I notice is that when I go to any of the domains, it takes like 10 seconds to start loading the index, once in the ste it flies though, but it is concerning, and not sure if it is ISPConfig or what. I have a dedicated T1 with Covad for this server. Speed is great on it when I run speedtests.

You can see what I mean by checking them out.

www.exeba.com
www.e-scan.com
www.escantech.com
www.escan-uk.com
www.escan-ie.com

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

ISPConfig is a hosting contraol panel and not your webserver, so ISPConfig can not increase or decrease the speed of your pages.

Instead of looking at ispconfig you should check the load of your server and e.g. install a php binary cache like eaccelerator. Also you should check that the nameservers in /etc/resolv.conf are responding fast and that the hostname of your server exists in dns.

Thanks, the load is very light as it is the weekend

root@debian-srv:/# uptime
00:30:26 up 1 day, 15:51, 1 user, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.07

I was just making sure I did not miss something. As I have a few other sites but they are using ispconfig 2 and run very fast. I will check out the other stuff.
