installed rhel 4.5 on compaq desktop. but not configured built in lan card which is realtek 8169. how to config please help. downloaded TAR file but still not configure. thank in advance.

I suggest you install RHEL 5 or CentOS 5 - they have better hardware support and hopefully support your NIC.
