SystemImager- image SAME system to another drive?

Have a system with NVidia RAID and want to create an image file of the system onto one of the other hard drives I have installed. In looking through all the docs ion SystemImager, it may be a good solution but, they all require a server and gold client. I am looking to make an image of the system onto another hard drive (or external USB) and then create a bootable CD.

Any thoughts?

BTW- I have checked various other programs, (Acronis, partimage, etc) and the hang up is most do not support my NVidia software RAID so when booting into a "liveCd" it doesn't recognize the RAID drives.

I finally have this thing set up nicely, everything working, and would just like to ensure I don't have to fight to get it back to this state ever again...

As far as I know, you need a SystemImager server.

Have you tried CloneZilla or Ghost4Linux?
