Hi,

The ISPc install instructions I followed for my Ubuntu 8.04LTS box don't mention fail2ban or rkhunter but it seems that ISPc3 supports them.

I installed them both but ISPc doesn't see them.

At the bottom of this thread
http://www.howtoforge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30516&highlight=fail2ban

Till says to just 'Update ISPc'.

Is this the same as reinstalling ISPc? Just download and run <php -q install.php>?

If so, do I need to drop the database from mySQL?
From other posts it seems that the installer will kick up an error but to ignore it. Is that right?

hmmm,

I took my courage in both hands and ran the ISP3 install script again.

I got

ERROR: Stopped: Database already contains some tables

This thread doesn't look promising

I have never used the svn version and did the original install to the letter.

Can I avoid reformatting my disks *again*? Please...:o

Ok,

I'm breathing again...

I originally ran php -q install.php. When I ran php -q update.php it liked it better :)

Hopefully I didn't trash anything...
