Fedora server fails to start

My fedora 10 samba file server fails to start, its only loads the loading bar and stay there when its all white and after 10minutes an error messages comes out

init: prefdm main process (2166) terminated with status 1
init: prefdm main processs ended, respawning
init: prefdm respawning too fast, stopped.

please assist me to fix this problem.

How did you install Samba? What's the output of getenforce?

Cannot go to terminal mode to type in the above code.

I install samba last four months aback. Select it during the inital installation

Can you connect to the server using SSH?
